Since completing foundation training Ali has explored a range of treatment modalities; digital dentistry and cosmetic dentistry are of particular interest to him. Having always had an affinity for indirect restorations, Ali embarked on the momentous task of opening his own dental laboratory at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was a steep learning curve, but he feels it has been invaluable to his growth as a clinician. He has been invited to lecture on the topics of digital dentures and digital crown and bridge workflows. Outside of dentistry Ali's interests include freestyle wrestling, boxing and mixed martial arts.
