Nick Gibb

Our principal dentist Nick qualified from Guy's Dental Hospital in London in 1985 and continued to work at Guy's until entering general practice in Banbury. Since buying this practice in Leamington Spa in 1988 he has concentrated on building a friendly, caring environment and is renowned for his relaxed calming style.

In 2002, Nick was awarded a Diploma with distinction in Conscious Sedation for Dentistry from Guy's Dental Hospital and followed this up in 2003 with a Diploma in Post Graduate Dental Studies from Bristol University. He has also completed a Masters Degree in Endodontics (root canal treatment) from Warwick University and a MBA in healthcare management from Plymouth University.

Nick is the Chairman of the Local Dental Committee, being actively involved in the local dental community.

Nick is an expert member of The British Dental Association and The European Society of Endodontology and The British Endodontic Society. His particular interests include treatment with sedation, endodontics and CAD CAM dentistry.

He has 3 dogs and supports Luton Town Football Club.

Hari Hunjan
Specialist in oral surgery BDS, MFGDP (UK) DPDS, Dip Imp Dent RCS (GDC number 50546)

Hari is one of just over 700 dentists on the General Dental Council's specialist register for Surgical dentistry.

He particularly specialises in wisdom tooth removal and dental implants - he has attended numerous implant courses as part of his on-going training and also regularly holds lectures on surgical dentistry and implantology.

He has placed over 700 implants (modern replacement for missing teeth) with delighted patients over many years, choosing the implant system best suited to each individual situation. He has recently acquired the Diploma in implant dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons.

His skills and experience are such that many other dentists in the region refer their patients to him for wisdom tooth removal or dental implants.

Peter Clayton
Oral surgeon BChD (GDC number 67069)

Peter qualified from Leeds Dental Hospital in 1991 and since then has mainly worked in the hospital services specialising in Oral Surgery.

For the past 12 years he has been heavily involved in training the future new dentists in the discipline of Oral Surgery in Sheffield, teaching the skills ((tea drinking and cake eating)) necessary to remove impacted wisdom teeth and and all types of dento alveolar surgery (removing difficult teeth and tooth jaw cysts).

He is a member of the British Association of Oral Surgeons and regularly attends training courses both nationally and internationally.

Bronwen O'Brien
Dentist BDS DipDSed (GDC number 73598)

Bronwen qualified from Manchester University in 1997 and has worked in general practice since then, joining Dental Spa Solutions in 2002.

In 2005 she gained a Diploma with honours in Conscious Sedation for Dentistry from Guys Dental Hospital, London. She specialises in treating nervous patients.

Amy Joomun

Amy graduated from Birmingham in 2006. She has a special interest in Dental Acupuncture which is proving very popular with her patients.

Her hobbies include going to the gym, pub quizzes and socialising locally.

Kirstin Lancaster

Kirstin qualified in 1992 at Dundee University. After practicing in Scotland for four years Kirstin returned to Warwickshire.

Kirstin has many years experience in a variety of both NHS and private practices. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has a special interest in treating children. Her relaxed and friendly manner makes her popular amongst families.

While not working Kirstin enjoys spending time with her young family.

Shalini Devlukia

Shalini graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2005. She completed her vocational training here at the practice and then became an associate in 2007. Shalini has until recently been working part time in Private Practice and in 2009 qualified for the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons of England

Whilst Shalini enjoys all aspects of general dentistry she has a particular interest in cosmetic smile enhancements. To develop her skills and knowledge in this area ahe has undertaken courses in advanced cosmetic dentistry and keeps up to date with the latest advancements.

Shalini's aim is to provide patients with a full range of treatment options tailored to their individual needs and wishes, in a calm and relaxed environment.

Meeth Kirtikumar Katira

Meeth graduated from King's College London, one of the most reputable universities that offer Dentistry at an undergraduate level. He has recently completed his vocational training which sent him on courses in Birmingham and London about new dental techniques and procedures. Meeth plans to do many more courses with a view to further specialise in Minor Oral Surgery. In his free time, he loves playing cricket, reading and travelling.

Inderjit Hunjan

Inderjit qualified from The Royal London Hospital in 1990 and has since worked in NHS dentistry. He has been working predominantly in Private Practice since 2006 in West Yorkshire before moving to the West Midlands in 2012.

Whilst enjoying all aspects of general dentistry he has a particular interest in cosmetic and restorative smile reconstructions. To further develop his skills and knowledge in this area he has completed a postgraduate diploma in Restorative Cosmetic Dentistry from the University of Central Lancashire. He keeps up to date with the latest advancements – each treatment proposal is unique to the specific requirements combining any combination of crowns, bridges, dentures and braces.

Selina Takhar

Selina qualified from The University of Birmingham in 2007. After completing her vocational training year she went into hospitals working as a Senior House Officer in Maxillofacial Surgery. In 2009 Selina did further studies and completed her Diploma of Membership of The Joint Dental Faculties with The Royal College of Surgeons.

Selina enjoys all aspects of dentistry, particularly oral surgery. She enjoys working with families and children making their dental experience a relaxed and enjoyable one.

Selina feels it is important to continue learning and regularly attends courses to keep up to date with new techniques and advancements in dentistry. She has a keen interest in facial aesthetics and has recently completed several courses to enhance the techniques she uses.

In her spare time Selina enjoys travelling, reading, playing netball and spending quality time with her friends, family and three young children.

Gurleen Mann

Gurleen graduated from King’s College London in 2017 before moving back to the West Midlands to complete her foundation training. Since then, she has enjoyed working as a general dental practitioner, with special interests in aesthetic dentistry and treating nervous patients. Gurleen aims to prioritise patient wishes and put patients at ease, making their dental visit as enjoyable as possible.

In her free time, Gurleen enjoys keeping fit and has always had a keen interest in sports, having played tennis for a county team and then training for and completing the London Marathon. Gurleen also loves to travel and explore new places, recently completing a dental elective project in South America.

Melissa Brown

Melissa qualified in 2009 from Cardiff University after obtaining a BSc in Physiology. She has been working in both NHS and private practices across the West Midlands and London since. Melissa is known for her gentle approach and seeks to put patients at ease. She is PG certified in Contemporary Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry and has a particular interest in composite (white filling) restorations and is an accredited Level 4 Bioclear practitioner. This enables her to provide minimally invasive cosmetic treatment using composite materials. She is also qualified in providing short term orthodontic treatment for adults. Outside of work, Melissa enjoys cooking, tennis and dancing.

Rajiv Tanday

Rajiv qualified from King's College London in 2007. Following completion of his Vocational Training year he obtained the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties with the Royal College of Surgeons (London) and has been working in mixed NHS/Private practices since 2008. He is very keen on attending postgraduate courses, continuing professional development and likes to keep up to date with the latest advances in dentistry.

He has also completed a Diploma in Restorative Dentistry in 2012 and more recently a Masters in Endodontology in 2018. Rajiv enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a Special Interest in Endodontics (root canal treatments) and currently accepts referrals from other dentists. Rajiv has been a Foundation Dentist Trainer on the Solihull Scheme since 2015 where he is involved in training and mentoring newly qualified dentists. Outside of dentistry he enjoys travelling, cooking, spending time with family and friends, and is a long-suffering supporter of Aston Villa FC. One of his greatest achievements is climbing Mount Kilimanjaro raising money for Bridge2Aid.

Jo Marlow

Jo joined the practice in 2003 and is responsible for the smooth and efficient day to day running of the practice. Although she mainly works behind the scenes she can occasionally be found helping out on reception.

Jo recently gained a Diploma in Management which has given her the skills and knowledge to manage our expanding team.

In her spare time Jo enjoys running and holidays with her family.

Hilary Parkinson
Dental Hygienist RDH (GDC number 4818)

Hilary qualified in 1995 from Guy's Hospital School of Dental Hygiene, in London. On qualification, she was awarded the BDHA prize for her year. Shortly after qualification, she returned to Guy's, taking up a part time post as staff hygienist, gaining valuable experience working with Mr Brian Smith, the then Clinical Director of the hospital.

As the law has changed to expand the duties of a dental hygienist, Hilary has subsequently completed further training and gained additional qualifications. She continues to regularly attend seminars, symposia and meetings in order to continue her professional development.

Anwar Pandhair
Dental Hygienist / Therapist BSc, PGCert (GDC number 257894)

Anwar dually qualified in 2015 as a dental hygienist and therapist from the University of Birmingham. Following graduation Anwar completed a foundation dental therapy training programme in accordance with the West Midlands deanery. He went on to provide his services in a range of practices within the county providing a high standard of oral hygiene care, tooth whitening and restorative treatments. Anwar uses a combination of skills as a qualified inhalation seditionist and his experience gained in his short career thus far to manage and treat anxious patients in an epithetic manner. Anwar is an active member of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners for the West Midlands Division (FGDPwm).

Anwar hopes to broaden his horizon in the legalities in dentistry having graduated earlier this year with a postgraduate certificate from the University of Bedfordshire in Dental Law and Ethics. In his spare time Anwar particularly enjoys travelling the world, playing squash, cricket and socialising with family and friends.


Eleanor Cowlam

Eleanor qualified as a dental hygienist and therapist from Teesside University in 2017 with first class honours. She was awarded the best overall student award and the BSDHT Graduation Award. Following graduation Eleanor went straight into working in both NHS and private practices providing a mix of both hygiene and therapy treatments.

Eleanor has a keen interest in periodontics, restorative therapy and providing treatments to nervous patients. She is very passionate about her work and is constantly striving to improve her skill set.

Eleanor regularly attends training courses to stay up to date with the latest techniques in her field. In her spare time she enjoys going to the gym and spending time with her family and friends.
